SIMON Glass
DIRECTOR
As a forward-thinking engineering leader with a proven track record, Simon has spearheaded product development and launches for industry giants like Google, Dell, Samsung, and ARM. Renowned for assembling high-performing engineering teams, he also pioneers open-source technology, and has helped disrupt multiple mature markets with game-changing products.
Simon brings exceptional experience spanning startups and global corporations, marked by remarkable achievements. Core competencies include engineering management, product development, software project management, and team leadership.
SUSAN MOORE
CUSTOMER & CONTRACT LEAD
With a strong financial management background, Susan is the lead for the company's customer and manufacturing contracts. She brings strategic financial insight and a keen eye for contract negotiation. Susan's holistic approach ensures the company's fiscal health while enhancing production efficiency and quality.
ANDRE RENAUD
SOFTWARE ENGINEERING LEAD
Andre is DesignA’s Software Engineering Lead, with over 25 years experience in embedded systems development.
Andre is responsible for overseeing the software aspects of DesignA’s consulting projects as well as internal product development, drawing on his experiences working at Compaq, HP and more recently Google.
His technical specialities include embedded Linux development, low power & boot-speed optimisation as well as embedded graphics. These days he is involved in designing and developing high quality production systems, including automated testing and verification, for both software and hardware projects.
RUSSELL HOCKEN
HARDWARE ENGINEERING LEAD
Russell is DesignA’s Hardware Engineering Lead, with over 25 years experience in embedded systems development across a broad range of industries.
Russell is responsible for the hardware design and review of all of DesignA’s product lines and consulting projects, providing technical expertise in high speed digital & FPGA design, video processing and system architecture.
Sally Glass
DIRECTOR
Sally brings a unique perspective to the table. With a background in education and a deep passion for financial counseling, her journey from the corporate world to international teaching and community support has shaped their holistic approach to leadership.
Over the past two decades, Sally has successfully nurtured and expanded two businesses, emphasizing organic growth and financial prudence.
Through global experiences, she’s honed their business acumen and developed a strong network of diverse and insightful individuals.
TIM TREWINNARD
COMMERCIAL LEAD
Tim is a seasoned business leader with a proven track record in technology and SaaS companies, both internationally and in startups.
With a strong marketing background, he excels in devising strategic business plans and successfully commercializing innovative technology and software. His expertise lies in cultivating growth and overseeing product management and marketing teams, with a particular focus on SaaS, electronic and digital products.
